Images carrying creative commons sharing licenses are there for purposes just like you using them on the blog, but an attribution creative commons license requires you appropriately attribute the author of the images – your recent post on video game investing does not contain any attribution, but it does take a number of images from Flickr that require it – please correct this in any future usage.

Ignore my last, had completely missed the fact the images were backlinked; sorry, we’re a little fragile at the moment after finding 500 of them being sold in a Christmas book as someone elses’ own work.

Hi Ian, the other thing I do is edit the Alt Text on the image and the link text so the first one in this article if you hover as well as the backlinking says ‘Photo by Daniel Morrison on Flickr licensed under Creative Commons’. Ideally I’d like to actually include this in a caption under the photo but I don’t know whether it’s a generic problem with WordPress (or just me!) but I can’t get the captions to line up on these smaller photos… (just writing this in the vain hope that someone might tell me the answer here … (-: ).
